  • Social Security Number trace
  •  Address history (7–10 years)

Criminal Background Checks

  • National criminal database search 
  • County-level criminal searches (based on address history) 
  • Federal criminal records search
  • Sex offender registry check (all states)

Texas-specific (required for childcare/education work):

  • Texas DPS Criminal History 
  • FBI fingerprint-based check (when required)

Sanctions & Exclusion Checks 

  • Office of Inspector General (OIG) List of Excluded Individuals and Entities 
  • System for Award Management (SAM.gov) Exclusions 
  • State Medicaid exclusion lists

Employment Verification

  • Prior employers (minimum 2–3)
